Bassam Kyrillos is a Lebanese sculptor who was born in 1971. He completed his BFA from the University of Damascus and received his PhD in Art History from the Sorbonne. He has exhibited locally and internationally notably at the Sursock Museum in Beirut and at several international biennales, including the Islamic Biennale in Iran and the Biennale of Alexandria in Egypt. He serves on the faculty of art at the Lebanese University. He currently resides and works from his atelier in his hometown, Byblos.
