Ali Al Rubaie is an Iraqi sculptor, born in Baghdad in 1967. He is a graduate of the Fine Arts Institute in Baghdad and is a member of the Iraqi Fine Arts Association and the Iraqi Art committee of Fine Arts.  His work encompasses fiberglass, bronze and mixed media. Several of Al Rubaie’s sculptures have been erected in public spaces in Iraq; and he is the recipient of the Ismail Fattah al Turk Award for sculpture. He has participated in several group exhibitions including the Alwasiti Festival and the British Cultural Center in Iraq, as well at the Qatari Artists Association in Qatar.  His works are held in private and public collections across the Middle East and Europe including Lebanon, Iraq, Qatar and the UK. He currently works and lives in Beirut, Lebanon.
