In her works, artist Noor Hisahm Alsaif rewrites narratives of traditional Saudi Arabian representation of men and women. Using iconography, facades of femininity, and the seemingly stark contrast between domestic and public life in Saudi Arabia, Alsaif reorients viewers to examine what is conventional and what is risqué in a way that is both satirical and earnest.

Alsaif's artwork is informed by her Saudi nationality. In her work Alsaif "de-marginalizes" women, in effect maintaining an ongoing dialogue about their role in Saudi society.
